Lacework Question

Hi knitting friends! I have found myself drawn to lacework recently (I blame knit-tok) and am wondering how feasible patterns like the [Summer Felicia Shawl](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/summer-felicia-shawl) or [The Legacy Square Shawl](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/legacy-square-shawl) are for someone completely new to lacework? First lacework complete!

22 hours of knitting later - I completed this shawl for my grandma’s birthday present! Definitely not perfect, but I’m very proud of it 🥰 Pattern - Damask by Kitman Figueroa Yarn - Wooly Bully from Wüllenstudio (Edit to add I see that I totally blocked this wrong, that’s what I get for winging it - will be re-blocking it lol)

Tips & Advice on Lacework

Hello! I am trying to knit up a swatch of the Ogee lace and it’s a 28 row repeat which feels so daunting to me at the moment. I am in great need of your tips and advice on how to move forward with this lace SWATCH :| Aside from stitch markers, printing out the chart, what else can I do? The most complex lace I’ve done so far is the Frost Flower lace and I think the reason why I feel the Ogee is tougher is because there is still work to do on the WS so there’s no ’mindless’ part of knitt

First finished top, first lacework!

Pattern is the Kate Vest by Kirsten Ascanius. I used Malabrigo Rios in Pieces & Fiber Macgyver Suri Silk in Sprinkles. I started knitting in September and just couldn’t get myself to finish a sweater for myself, but for whatever reason I was able to finish this lovely vest for my friend’s birthday! The lacework isn’t perfect or perfectly readable in the marled yarn, but I’m still super pleased with it!
