Intern – Lab Operations Bioanalytical

Labcorp is seeking a Bioanalytical Laboratory Operations Intern to join our team in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor laboratory consumables and reagent inventory, including accurate usage tracking, timely restocking, and following up on quotation requests and purchase orders.
• Coordinate procurement activities by initiating purchase requests and working with vendors and internal teams to support smooth purchasing processes.
• Assist in monthly chemical stock‑taking and manage new chemical requests, helping to maintain compliance and audit readiness.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for laboratory equipment, ensuring maintenance schedules are followed and records are properly maintained.
• Attend cross‑functional meetings with other departments to support laboratory operations and gain familiarity with inter‑department workflows.
• Support audit readiness by reviewing documents and ensuring documentation is complete, organized, and inspection‑ready.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, such as developing an improved inventory management system with automation features, streamlining request workflows, and co‑developing a lab operations dashboard with the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Chemistry or Data Analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 months or more experience in Microsoft Excel (including VBA and Macros).

Additional Job Standards:

• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.

• Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
