Job Title:(Sr.) Product Manager**– Aesop- Luxe DivisionWHO WE ARE:**
In the L’Oréal Luxe Division, we create the very best of luxury beauty. Our Division has an unrivalled portfolio of 23 aspirational brands (Yves Saint Laurent, Khiels, Lancôme, Prada, Aesop, and Urban Decay to name a few) and an incredibly talented team of 28k experts, making it perfectly equipped to meet the endless and all-encompassing demands of luxury consumers around the world.

JOB SUMMARY:
This pivotal role is central to driving Aesop's product strategy, successfully launching innovative products, and maximizing brand value. It involves leading the evolving Product Management role, particularly in the context of Aesop's integration into the L'Oréal Group, by spearheading new PM initiatives, effectively guiding team members in understanding and adopting existing L'Oréal systems and processes, and fostering collaborative task execution. We seek a true team player who can create synergy through collaboration, overseeing the entire product lifecycle and enhancing customer experience. A consistent and dedicated career history as a Product Manager within L'Oréal, demonstrating a deep understanding of our brand, established processes, and values, is highly preferred for this crucial transitional period.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
A.
Product Strategy & Management:
- Product Portfolio Strategy and Management: Develop and manage annual/long-term product portfolio strategies based on market trends, competitor analysis, consumer/customer/professional insights leveraging, and brand strategy.
- Pro-actively identify opportunities for existing product improvement and new product launches, defining product roadmaps with a foundation in strategic thinking.
- New Product Launch and its operation: Lead the entire planning process from new product forecasting, pricing, RA and many maintenance tasks on daily inventory management.
- Develop new product launch plans and ensure successful execution through close cooperation with cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Global Zone and external agencies.
- Product Performance Analysis and Optimization: Continuously analyze product sales data, market response, and customer feedback to evaluate market performance, leveraging 'Data driven decision making' skills.
- Identify growth opportunities and, with flexible thinking, devise improvement plans to optimize products throughout their lifecycle.
- Pricing and Demand Forecasting: Establish and manage annual product pricing policies and new product pricing strategies, demonstrating expertise in 'Product and service pricing'.
- Accurately forecast demand for new and key products, coordinating with relevant departments for production and inventory management.
B.
Customer Marketing & Engagement:

Campaign Planning and Management: Plan and manage the annual/monthly retail marketing & CRM calendar in local context, aligning with global brand strategy.

Develop local campaign strategies for product launches and key promotions, leading execution including retail copy review, in-store activation, and event planning, supported by creative thinking.

Oversee the creation of campaign materials to ensure effective activation.

Formulate marketing strategies considering 'brand local adaptation' and 'social media trends activation'.

Plan and execute customer engagement events (e.g., skincare or fragrance workshops) to increase product awareness and enhance customer experience.

Reporting and Analysis: Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to prepare strategic reports (monthly/quarterly marketing reports, campaign reports, beauty market research, etc.) on product and marketing activities.

Conduct competitive analysis and analyze CRM data to identify key trends and opportunities, incorporating these insights into product strategy.

Leadership & Collaboration:
- Internal Collaboration: Foster seamless communication and demonstrate true cooperation as a team player with various departments such as R&D, Sales, Retail, and CRM, generating synergy in product planning and marketing activities.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, supporting their growth and fostering a positive team environment through effective 'energy and stress management'.
- Lead efficient work processes by applying strong project planning management and briefing capabilities.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Education : University graduate
- Year of Experience : 5+ years
Experience:
5+ years of experience in Marketing or Product Management (Beauty/Cosmetics industry experience preferred).

Proven experience in product lifecycle management and new product launches is essential.

Strategic problem-solving skills based on a pro-active and flexible mindset.

Strong capabilities in market analysis, competitor analysis, and consumer insight generation. Data-driven decision-making ability and analytical thinking.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills as a team player working with diverse departments and stakeholders.

Language: Proficiency in Korean & English communication (for report writing and communication with global headquarters)

Other Skills: Proficient with Excel,PPT
