The Site Manager is responsible for the overall performance of a contract logistics operation, covering warehousing, customer service, administration, and where applicable, distribution activities. This role leads the site team to achieve agreed safety, financial, operational, and customer objectives while ensuring full compliance with internal and external standards.

You will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across the site.

How you create impact

• Take full accountability for site performance across safety, cost, quality, delivery, environment, and people KPIs.
• Lead and oversee all warehouse, office, and administrative activities at the site.
• Ensure all warehousing and logistics operations are conducted safely, with appropriate skills, training, and supervision in place.
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies, external regulations, licenses, QSHE, and dangerous goods requirements.
• Drive customer onboarding, retention, and operational excellence, working closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal support functions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve productivity, service, and sustainability.
• Review daily and periodic performance against KPIs, proactively addressing risks and operational issues.
• Support distribution activities where applicable, ensuring transport solutions meet operational and customer requirements.
• Contribute operational input to tenders and proposals to support new business development.

What we would like you to bring

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a Site Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent leadership role within contract logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations.
• Strong hands-on operational background with people leadership responsibility.

Skills & Competencies:

• Solid understanding of contract logistics operations and operational safety.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs, productivity, cost control, and service performance.
• Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in an operational environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
