Air Logistics Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of his team’s work product and environment. The Supervisor assures all policies and procedures are followed daily. Promotes a safe work environment and escalates any concerns to his Manager and Client.
How you create impact
- Facilitate, Delegate, manage the shipping and receiving of IT equipment, accessories and products from one destination to another
- Arrange transportation, deliveries to meet operation demand without delay
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and inventory cycle check to ensure established deadlines are met.
- Administer and follow all company and Client policies and procedures.
- Assign daily tasks and follow up via Service Now.
- Manage and prioritize tasks for the team of specialists throughout the day.
- Ability to prioritize and manage requests from the company and the Client in the datacenter.
- Follow up on any special projects.
- Perform all reporting functions as requested by the Client
- Train/Learn QIC and/or Client software for inventory and accounting controls.
- Adhere to all safety instructions and warnings.
- Participate in any QIC and Client meetings as invited to do so.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Assure that the team adheres proper dress code (Quick Uniform)
What we would like you to bring
Essential Skills and Abilities Required:
- Five years’ experience in a management position and or 10 years’ experience within a logistics environment
- Proficient in MS Windows Office365, SharePoint platforms
- Professional, Strong Team Player
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Time Management: ability to organize and complete multiple priorities
- Solid P & L understanding is desirable.
- Manage within the company’s disciplinary action plan.
- Manage new hire process for your site.
- Adjust to new systems and be flexible to assist with other duties as assigned.
- Manage all training requirements for QIC and the Client’s requirements.
- Embraces technology: wants to learn about new products, systems and processes related to the datacentre operational environment.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; balance & stoop.
- The employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move packages up to 70 LBS
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack
- Must be able to view computer monitors both at close range and distance.
