Are you passionate about building client relationships and driving growth in the insurance sector?
We’re looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to lead business development efforts across Belgium, focusing on marine liability, marine cargo, and broader corporate insurance solutions for SMEs. You’ll tap into established industry networks and leverage existing partnerships to identify new opportunities, while also managing a portfolio of current clients.
You’ll be supported by a collaborative team that provides administrative assistance and expert guidance on complex insurance and claims matters—allowing you to focus on what you do best: delivering value to clients and growing the business.
How you create impact
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across marine and corporate insurance lines, leveraging industry networks and existing partnerships.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing tailored advice and ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team on client visits and meetings, and ensure all commercial activities are accurately recorded in the CRM system.
- Conduct market research to optimize the insurance offering and contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and back-office support.
- Keep clients informed through regular updates and newsletters on relevant topics such as Incoterms, port status, and industry developments.
What we would like you to bring
- Experience in sales, insurance, or logistics.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, someone who wants to contribute to the further growth
- Sales with a hunting focus rather than just farming.
- Preferably graduated in insurance or marine law.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marine insurance with another insurance broker or underwriter/insurer.
- Native Dutch speaker. Fluent in English. Fluency in French would be an interesting plus, but is not a must
