Responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, achieving sales targets through visits and solution selling, and collaborating with internal teams.

How you create impact Operational / Tactical duties

  • Collaborate with operations to align solutions with customer needs
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
  • Work with other teams to gather information, negotiate pricing, and prepare for the handover of shipments to operations.

Leadership Responsibility

  • Provide guidance and support to customer care team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Foster collaboration between customer and customer care team for seamless customer solutions.

Customer / Commercial Responsibility

  • Build relationships with customers by meeting with them to discuss their needs and expectations, to bring in new business.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain a robust customer pipeline segmented by trade lanes.

Financial Responsibility

  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies when onboarding and managing customers.
  • Support finance team to Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms to minimize financial risk.
  • Take proactive measures to address overdue accounts and maintain healthy cash flow.

Strategic  Responsibility

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet targets.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of company products and services.
  • Stay up to date on market trends and developments

What we would like you to bring Experience:

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in freight forwarding preferrably.
  • Strong focus and expertise in Sea Freight operations.
  • Proven experience and solid background in sales, with a track record of achieving targets.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Background:

  • Proven track record in managing freight forwarding processes and delivering results in a senior capacity.
