As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. • In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. Your typical shift will be Monday
• Friday, 11:00 am – 8:00 PM. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customers.

• Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies
• Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members
• Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time
• Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory
• Implement continuous improvement action plans
• Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed

What we would like you to bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
• 2 or more years in a supervisory role
• Minimum one year of experience operating sit-down and reach forklifts is a plus
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
