The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial planning, reporting, and compliance. The role supports management decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while ensuring adherence to local laws, tax regulations, and internal controls.

How you create impact

  • Manage and oversee all finance and accounting operations, including general ledger and financial controls
  • Prepare, review, and publish monthly financial statements and management reports
  • Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business planning
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
  • Coordinate regulatory reporting and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks
  • Oversee tax activities including VAT, WHT, payroll tax filings, payments, and tax inspections
  • Maintain financial schedules and records (FSL, accruals, open files, loss files) and resolve technical accounting issues

What we would like you to bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, including senior-level responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
  • Solid understanding of local tax regulations, VAT, WHT, and statutory compliance
  • Experience coordinating with external auditors and managing audit processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
