How you create impact

  • Manage all aspects of the shipment lifecycle, including inland transportation, booking, import documentation,and tracking to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain proactive communication with vendors, customers, carriers, and Kuehne+Nagel offices to ensuresmooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate competitive rates with service providers to enhance cost efficiency and support profitability.
  • Keep SOPs and customer profiles current, detailing contacts, handling requirements, contract rates, andpreferred logistics strategies.
  • Assist overseas offices with quote preparation, ensuring timely and accurate responses aligned with customer needs.
  • Follow Quality Management procedures and stay updated on company policies via intranet resources to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Address customer service inquiries, billing discrepancies, and operational issues promptly, escalating whenneeded to maintain workflow integrity.

What we would like you to bring

  • 2+ years of experience in a seafreight customer care or operations.
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international geography, including major cities and seaports.
  • Basic knowledge of Incoterms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
