You will be part of our Road Logistics team, adding your customs expertise + skills to the delivery of customer + operational excellence.

How you create impact

You will be responsible for the smooth + compliant operations of all customs-related activities while keeping abreast of updated customs related regulations.

What we would like you to bring

• To take lead in driving implementation of customs related projects, ensuring seamless onboarding. 
• To develop + maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to customs brokers, government agencies, trade compliance associations + customers. 
• To ensure accuracy of customs declaration form(s) submission + complete related activities as required by the government, facilitating timely clearance of all shipments. 
• To monitor performance of customs-related suppliers + end-to-end customs activities, including but not limited to checking of documents, entering data in relevant systems, inspections of goods, clearance + third party documents. 
• To arrange for product re-classification with customs ruling department if required. 
• To oversee loading + unloading activities, escalate any defects to relevant parties + follow up with necessary surveys. 
• To create standard operating procedures, identify business risks + provide trainings whenever required. 
• To attend to customs examinations + ensure relevant certifications are valid.
