It's more than a job

With a sales career at Nacora, a subsidiary of Kuehne+Nagel, you'll drive long-term business success by mastering sales strategies, nurturing customer relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most insurance brokerages worldwide? At Nacora Insurance Brokers, a subsidiary of Kuehne+Nagel, we’re looking for a driven and dynamic Sales Representative (Nacora Insurance Brokerage) to join our Central U.S. team. If you're an ambitious insurance professional ready to make a significant impact in the world of logistics and risk management, this is your opportunity to shine.

How you create impact

In this high-impact, client-facing role, you’ll work directly with logistics professionals to deliver tailored cargo insurance solutions that mitigate risk and protect their supply chains. You’ll be instrumental in driving growth, building relationships, and positioning Nacora as a trusted partner in the logistics insurance space.

You will:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities using CRM insights and premium analysis
  • Qualify leads, negotiate agreements, and deliver customized insurance solutions for cargo, storage, and exhibition risks
  • Conduct site visits, host training sessions, and collaborate with branch managers to strengthen client relationships
  • Monitor sales pipelines, analyze trends, and implement strategies to improve conversion rates
  • Participate in regional sales meetings and strategy sessions with Nacora leadership to shape growth initiatives

What we would like you to bring

  • 2+ years of experience in insurance brokerage or freight forwarding sales
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred
  • Strong understanding of insurance sales, policy issuance, renewals, and premium billing
  • Proven field sales expertise with the ability to build relationships and close deals in person
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
  • A consultative sales mindset and a passion for helping clients manage risk effectively

What's in it for you

At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. We offer a dynamic global work environment with opportunities for excellent training programs and career mobility. The target base salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
