How you create impact

• Use material handling (MH) equipment to unload incoming materials from trailers.
• Verify and receive materials into inventory.
• Marks and inventories packages for storage or transit which may include palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
• May be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Use MH equipment to move and store materials within the warehouse.
• Use MH equipment to pick, verify and pack orders according to standard practice.
• Use MH equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution.
• Works from pick sheet to pull product or supplies.
• Check orders against pull sheets.
• Maintain warehouse clean and free of debris at all times.
• Adhere to local, State, and Federal regulations inclusive, but not limited, to OSHA, DOT, EPA and other government agencies.
• Overtime as needed.

What we would like you to bring

• 1+ years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• 1+ years of experience prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Relevant certification required for handling any hazardous material(s).
• Ability to load/unload materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, hand pallet jacks for other smaller material handling equipment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage products and maintain an efficient workflow.
• Problem-solving skills: to handle logistical challenges and ensure timely delivery.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
