Job Description

Objective:

The Category Finance Sr. Manager is a lead contributor to delivering the 3-year revenue management, category finance strategy, and performance within Kraft Heinz Mexico business unit.

This individual will analyze, develop, implement and track commercial and financial initiatives to unlock profitable value creation opportunities that fulfill the Triple Win approach company, customer, and shopper needs.

This role will report into the Category Director, Mexico, and will have exposure to a wide variety of departments, all the while providing a strong understanding of the commercial levers within a business.

Activities:

Revenue Growth Management:

I. Identify category long range pricing position and optimize portfolio price pack architecture

II. Build promotional guidelines & guardrails that connect to the strategic objectives of the segment

III. Implement actions across customer, channel and pack format mix to improve company profitability

IV. Extract customer, channel and shopper behaviour insights to unlock value accretive action plans

  1. Category Finance

I. Develop and lead 3-year category commercial strategic planning

II. Influence financials, market share & shopper metric performance

III. Design actions across customer, channel & pack to improve profit mix

IV. Prepare inputs & analyse category financial forecast, strategic plan & annual operating plan

  1. Performance

I. Review market share on a monthly basis, propose action plans, and conduct follow-up.

II. Identify trends, patterns, and findings that enable informed decision-making in conjunction with cross-functional departments.

III. Analysis of internal forecasts and sell-out projections to identify opportunities and risks.

IV. Analysis of external sales performance and future forecasts [VMS Projections

V. Provide support with the MPR routine to the Mexico leadership team and the sales team.

VI. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the automation of all Sell-out reports.

Knowledge & Experience

§ Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, economics, business, or equivalent is preferred

§ Technical Proficiency: Advanced skillset in Excel and PowerPoint

§ Language: Strong fluency in English
