Job Description

• Responsible for procurement of assigned items and executing buying strategies in accordance with agreed upon material buying plans at the optimum cost/quality relationship, under broad supervision.
  • Analyzes market and industry conditions and develops supply recommendations.
  • Interviews sales representatives and vendors.
  • Purchases and arranges timely deliveries of assigned items, supplies, and materials; expedites as needed and acts as liaison between vendors and users, getting prior approval for purchases in excess of established limit.
