About the Position

We have the perfect opportunity for an experienced Transportation & Supply Chain professional. The role will report into the GCC Transportation Senior Manager (Global Capability Center). This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where the successful candidate must have the right attitude, be prepared to roll their sleeves up and be an excellent problem solver.

This person will have a broad range of responsibilities across all aspects of Transportation & Logistics, people management & development. We are looking for someone who doesn't need any motivation to develop, a self-starter, who is hungry to continually improve Transportation & Logistics operations. You will be working close together with various business partners in our Business units & GBS as well as partner with Procurement & External Carriers.

In brief, you will be responsible for:

• Manage a Team of Transportation Analysts responsible for Execution processes across regional distribution POD’s
• People Leadership: Lead a team of 5-6 Analysts effectively & Be a Coach and Mentor to direct reports.
• Drive Process excellence initiatives across Transportation using CI framework and application of Lean practices
• Responsible for Stakeholder management with Business Units, Procurement & External Carriers.
• Drive Transportation Service reviews of KPIs, SLAs and governance meetings with 3PLs & Carriers
• Identify opportunities across Transportation network & activities to enable service & cost improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field
• 5+ Years Transportation & Logistics experience preferably within FMCG
• Strong knowledge of Transportation and Logistics operations
• Proficiency in Transportation software & tools (TMS, OTM, SAP, ORTEC & 4Kites)
• Proven track record to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
