What's on the Menu?

The Global e Commerce Capabilities Organization’s (GECO) mission is to develop industry-leading e Commerce capabilities to unlock the future of market level consumer engagement and inspire consumers throughout their path-to-purchase. The Global e Commerce Capabilities team’s main responsibility is to identify evolutions in the consumer journey and develop capabilities critical to measuring and enhancing the business’s focus and actions to optimize the path-to-purchase. The team works very closely with the global analytics and market activations teams within GECO, as well as the technical agile pod and zone level omnichannel experts such as omni shopper marketing, digital shelf, and analytics teams, and zone level e Commerce leaders.

  • Omni at a glance ...You will lead building critical strategy and capability standards to define optimal omni market execution. This role will focus initially focus on the Away From Home (e.g. distributor relationships) and external vendor channels to start but can extend into all other channels of business delivery. You are a self-starter with a strong desire to continue to advance our omnichannel execution globally.

Key Ingredients:

  • Support developing the global e Commerce strategy by ensuring local priority market specific dynamics are clearly understood

  • Translate global ecommerce strategy to actions that are fit for purpose for the priority markets, using data insights to identify improvement opportunities in markets

  • Act as a point contact for the zone’s commercial leadership in driving the e Commerce agenda for their zones and engage with zone’s functional leads to align on strategy

  • Project manage implementation of the global strategy in the focus markets to guarantee e Commerce agenda execution with local stakeholders

  • Report regularly to leadership on market performance & key initiative updates

  • Conduct capability assessment exercises for markets at pre-set intervals and develop plans to bridge capability gaps with actions relevant to markets

  • Influence local market leadership on the value that e Commerce brings to the biz

  • Accelerate e Commerce growth by supporting local e Commerce teams on key initiatives and develop framework to replicate successful initiatives across markets

  • Develop scalable playbooks, Deploy best practices effectively in markets with local market team’s involvement and bring Feedback to global e Commerce capabilities team

  • Help build local e Commerce knowledge and expertise by supporting training rollouts

  • Build expert knowledge on how different sub-channels of e Commerce (Pure Players / Click & Collect / Q-com / etc…) function and the value it drives for markets

Recipe for Success: Apply if this sounds like you!

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required

  • 2+ Years in Ecommerce channels

  • 2-3 years experience with e Commerce specific functions, such as digital shelf, shopper insights, marketing analytics, sales, shopper marketing, or a related field.

  • Digital experience with distributors

  • Experience working with "away from home" 3rd party vendors
