Job Description
We have an amazing opportunity available for a senior supply chain finance professional and all-round commercial leader to make a real difference at Kraft Heinz. Reporting directly to the European and Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) CFO, this role leads the finance organization (approx. 45 people) for the Operations businesses in Europe, with teams managing logistics, procurement and manufacturing, including employees in each of the 7 plants.
The Director of Supply Chain Finance Europe serves as the voice of finance in the decision making process as it relates to quarterly/annual reviews, monthly close process (including analysis and reporting), oversight of commercialization initiatives, development of the annual operating plan and development and implementation of the 3-year strategic plan. This person owns the supply chain P&L and will also sit on the EPDM Operations and EPDM Finance leadership teams. Commercial and Operations are two different worlds. They speak their own languages. The Director of Supply Chain Finance Europe will need to be able to navigate on both, translating the complexity of supply chain to the language of commercial teams.
In brief, you will be responsible for:
- Attract, develop and retain our people: it is a big and complex team, sitting in different locations.
- Drive efficiencies programs together with Operations teams, and management of all supply chain operational costs
- Implement data and reporting automation across the zone.
- Translate the complexity of supply chain to the language of commercial teams, providing deeper visibility of cost drivers for revenue growth management decisions.
- Guide the supply and procurement finance teams in management of all inventory and payables activities for the Europe business.
- Forecasting, Budgeting and Reporting activities, while keeping controls in place to protect our books.
Expected Experience & Required Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in a quantitative field (i.e. Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Accounting, etc.) is required
- Minimum of 10 year of experience in a progressive financial environment
- Experience supporting the supply chain at a large company preferred
- Demonstrated strong financial modeling, accounting and analytical skills, as well as broad business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a high intensity environment, managing multiple projects concurrently with limited direct supervision
- Ability to recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies
