Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Lead and develop the Inventory Control team, including hiring, training, performance reviews and disciplinary actions as required.

• Ensure accurate creation, maintenance and processing of shop orders to support smooth shop-floor operations.

• Maintain and reconcile inventory records for all warehouses/locations (excluding HMS), ensuring correct stock levels are held.

• Investigate and resolve inventory variances across WIP, Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Dries and Packaging, documenting root causes and corrective actions.

• Oversee validation and entry of factory data so accurate, timely inventory and performance reports are available for management.

• Produce and present weekly and monthly performance and financial reports, highlighting opportunities and action plans.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (including RCA) to improve cost, yield and plan attainment targets.

• Work collaboratively with Operations, Planning, Procurement and other functions to ensure robust end-to-end processes affecting inventory.

• Maintain a safe, ethical workplace by embedding Company Health & Safety, Food Safety and ethical standards and promoting a Zero Harm mindset.

About you:

• Strong and proven leadership, coaching, and people management skills

• Proven inventory control and reconciliation expertise

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience driving continuous improvement and KPI performance

• High attention to detail and data accuracy

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, with BPCS experience preferred

• Strong Microsoft office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting)
