Kodiak Robotics, Inc. was founded in 2018 and has become a leader in autonomous ground transportation committed to a safer and more efficient future for all. The company has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology stack purpose-built for commercial trucking and the public sector. The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly announce delivering a driverless semi-truck to a customer. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Kodiak is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to drive the development of our Assisted Autonomy solution that complements our Level 4 autonomous trucking solutions across different customer applications. This is an individual contributor PM role. In this role you will be the directly responsible individual for the full product lifecycle for your area of responsibility, which requires a unique blend of technical depth in operational systems, product sensibility, business acumen, and program execution rigor with a strong understanding of customer-centric product deployment.

In this role you will:

  • Assisted Autonomy Roadmap: Build workflows for human-in-the-loop support of our commercially deployed self-driving trucks. Define and evolve the roadmap for the Assisted Autonomy software in our Industrial vertical, balancing near-term milestones with long-term scalability

  • Data-Driven Prioritization: Deliver against tracked KPIs to increase speed to assist Kodiak Driver equipped trucks, and increase internal driver utilization while considering near-term customer needs and long-term Kodiak strategy—around driving performance and safety. Use data to identify failure modes, measure improvements, and prioritize engineering focus.

  • Execution: Design and prioritize improvements in job dispatch, telestation capabilities, and functional safety. Partner with internal and external vendor teams to align development efforts with product requirements, drive process optimization and successfully deploy new features.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear updates to leadership, internal teams, and customers on Assisted Autonomy feature development, and release management.

What you'll bring:

  • 2+ years experience working in product management, ideally in marketplaces, logistics, robotics or autonomous vehicles

  • A technical degree or equivalent work experience is required. A masters degree or above in engineering, computer science or a related technical field is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in an end user-facing high-tech product through the full product lifecycle, from inception to commercial deployment and scaling.

  • Comfortable leading strategy & execution in the midst of ambiguity and a dynamic market

  • Experience building credibility and strong relationships within engineering and operations teams, and with external stakeholders and customers

What we offer:

  • Competitive compensation package including equity and annual bonuses

  • Excellent Medical, Dental, and Vision plans through Kaiser Permanente, Cigna, and Met Life (including a medical plan with infertility benefits)
