What you'll do:
We are looking for a curious and creative self-starter who is passionate about data to join the ‘Global Customer Experience Analytics team’ in HPE’s Networking Business Unit. The right person for this role thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves problem-solving, and is a great communicator.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify high‑impact opportunities for data‑driven solutions.
- Collect and ingest structured and unstructured data from enterprise sources, including IT datasets in Databricks.
- Build curated analytical views to support downstream reporting, analytics, and decision‑making.
- Clean, transform, and prepare datasets using SQL and custom Alteryx workflows.
- Explore large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Develop, validate, and deploy statistical models and machine learning algorithms to advance business initiatives.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate insights to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across pipelines and analytical workflows.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership through clear, compelling narratives.
- Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in analytics, data science, and machine learning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 9+ years of relevant professional experience in analytics, data science, or related domains.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database technologies.
- Experience working with Databricks, Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Skilled in Python or R, including commonly used statistical and machine learning libraries.
- Ability to clean, transform, and analyze large, complex datasets.
- Experience with cloud storage and distributed data systems such as AWS S3, Hadoop, Hive, and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data ecosystems
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and experimental design.
- Strong problem‑solving, storytelling, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively.
