Job Description:
Job Family Definition:
Leads internal project to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through requirement gathering, planning, controlling and managing. Manages corporate and third party vendor efforts to plan, build and implement solutions to internal problems and issues.
Management Level Definition:
Applies basic foundation of a function's principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.
Responsibilities:
- Business Problem understanding and Requirement Gathering
- Working with Stakeholder in Supply Chain and Quality to gather requirement.
- Benefit documentation and costing.
- Works on internal project delivery
- Budget as detailed in Impact section Small/straightfor ward/ local scope.
- Low risk.
- Manages project financials
- Meets or exceeds approved budgets.
- Provides reliable financial forecasts to Management.
- Manages stakeholder relationships
- Manages first level stakeholder relationships.
- Leads project team
- May lead internal as well as external resources with in a predefined area.
- May provide performance feedback on project team members .
Skillset Requirements: Business Analyst (BA):
- Gather and analyze business needs from stakeholders & Translate requirements into clear documentation and functional specs.
- Business processes knowledge and improvements
- Create data-driven insights and dashboards to inform decisions.
- Support testing, validation, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Assist with change management and user training.
- Supply Chain & Quality knowledge
Core Skills:
- AI/ML Project experience
- Requirements gathering and documentation: user stories, use cases, requirements
- Data basics and data analysis: Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts), basic statistics, data cleaning.
- SQL fundamentals: select queries, joins, filtering, aggregations.
- Data visualization: constructing dashboards/reports Power BI etc.
- Process modeling: Process maps | Six sigma knowledge etc.
Technical skills
- Basic programming: Python or R for data manipulation
- Advanced Excel techniques: Power Query, Power Pivot.
- Data quality and testing concepts (UAT, traceability matrices).
Soft skills
- Communication: explaining complex ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Stakeholder management and negotiation.
- Time management, prioritization, and multitasking.
- Adaptability and learning mindset.
Educational background
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, analytics, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- Internships or project experience that demonstrate problem-solving with data or process improvement.
