Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

What you'll do:

Responsibilities:

• As a Test Architect, Responsible and Accountable for product QA of Backup Appliance product Store Once
• Having In-depth understanding of complex enterprise class storage device testing that spans a wide QA scope that includes platform management, storage stack validation, protocol testing, and the full set of manageability layers.
• Responsible for the overall Quality of Store Once across both functional and non-functional areas including performance, scalability, supportability, security, usability, etc.
• Provides Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction to the Product Design and Architecture
• Is involved in understanding Business/Marketing requirements and works with the development team to make any design improvements and refinement as needed.
• Responsible for analyzing the complex field issues and proactively come up with left shift strategy
• Analyzes competitive products and technologies and makes appropriate suggestions to influence product / technology direction
• has overall product knowledge and is able to guide both junior and senior team members

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 15+ years’ experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Overall 15+ years of industry experience with at least 5+ years of working experience in Storage stack and Storage platform
• Very good understanding of FC, iSCSI, NAS, File system domain knowledge
• Excellent track record of delivering high quality solutions on schedule as a product owner/scrum master
• Experience in leading overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
• Designing and integrating efficient and scalable software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.
• Evaluating and selecting forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools with customer mindset.
• History of innovation with multiple patents or deployed solutions in the field of system software.
• Strong leadership skills, including mentoring and coaching juniors in the team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
