Job Family Definition:

The job family spans across multiple engineering disciplines. Work consists of designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting and debugging systems, software and solutions for research and/or research development of product, services, and solutions for HPE’s portfolio. Requires a broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies and tools.

Job Family Definition for Executive Levels only: Directs and manages a diverse team of engineering professionals performing research, development, design and/or implementation of products, services, solutions for the company’s portfolio. Responsible for creating and communicating technical strategy within the organization and/or across the function.

Management Level Definition:

Leads a large or broad function/department within a multifaceted organization. Responsible for operational success, strategic alignment and integration of activities with other major organizational functions. Responsible for one or more recognized professional disciplines. Fully accountable for the success of the designated function or department. Influences strategy and sets policy and direction. Owns a significant number of measurable functional, operational and strategic goals or priorities. Assumes responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans in a defined area of responsibility. Contributes to the overall strategic definition of a function with strong business acumen. Acts as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the business. Typically reports to VP.

As a Technology Delivery Leader, you will drive end‑to‑end execution of AI, automation, and digital transformation programs that elevate Customer Support experiences. You will lead roadmap planning, program delivery, platform operations, and innovation while ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Planning & Roadmap Management

• Lead annual POR planning for AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Run quarterly backlog reviews to align priorities with business needs and integration dependencies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies through POCs to validate feasibility, scalability, and enterprise readiness.

Program Delivery & Execution

• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of AI/ML, automation, and platform enhancements using Agile practices.
• Manage sprint planning, execution, and release readiness to ensure predictable outcomes.
• Track delivery KPIs, engineering productivity, and release quality for continuous improvement.
• Optimize resources across initiatives and maintain executive‑level dashboards and reporting.

Incident Management

• Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis to ensure timely resolution and prevention.
• Oversee lifecycle governance for both build and buy technology solutions.
• Partner with IT and architecture to integrate new capabilities into enterprise systems and data flows.

Software, Tools & Compliance Management

• Optimize usage of software licenses, AI tools, automation platforms, and cloud services.
• Govern dependencies to ensure security, stability, and compliance.
• Manage EOL planning, technical debt remediation, and adherence to enterprise policies and AI governance standards.

Education and Experience Required:

• First level university degree or equivalent experience required. May have advanced university degree.
• Typically 15 or more years of related work experience, including 10 years of people management experience.

Impact/Scope:

• Collaborates across functions to deliver multidisciplinary engineering solutions.
• Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, and VPs and SVPs for internal and external suppliers, partners, and customers.
• Drives large and complex cross-organizational business initiatives.

Complexity:

• Leads highly-complex multidisciplinary engineering development, support, and improvement activities and organizations.
• Anticipates operational needs and impact on the business and function or department.
