The Executive Director, Financial Institutions Group (FIG), based in Seoul, South Korea, will be responsible for leading and managing the FIG business locally. This senior role focuses on business development, client relationship management, and operational excellence to drive growth and profitability within the financial institutions sector in South Korea. The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global teams to ensure the South Korea's FIG strategy aligns with the firm’s broader objectives.
Job Responsibilities:

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and enhance product offerings within the financial institutions sector in South Korea.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), including insurance companies, broker-dealers, asset managers.

Team Leadership: Lead and mobilize cross-functional JPM teams to drive client engagement and deliver comprehensive solutions.

Risk Management: Ensure robust risk management practices, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to internal policies.

Financial Performance: Achieve revenue and profitability targets, contributing to the sustainable growth of the FIG business in South Korea.

Market Analysis: Monitor local market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform business strategy.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Minimum 10 years’ experience managing relationships with banks and NBFIs, including insurance companies, broker-dealers, asset managers.

Strong understanding of the financial services sector in South Korea & APAC
-
Ability to provide valuable insights and content to Treasurers, Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officers of financial institutions.

Proven track record in originating and leading transactions.

Demonstrated leadership skills, including strategic thinking and team development.
