J.P. Morgan is a market leader in Prime Financial Services. Join our Transition Management team and play a key role in delivering a seamless, first-class onboarding experience for our hedge fund clients across multiple asset classes and global markets.
As an Associate/ Vice President in Prime Financial Services Transition Management, you will act as a dedicated relationship manager, guiding clients through the onboarding process and liaising with external vendors to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for our clients. You will coordinate and collaborate across multiple internal teams to convert client mandates into active accounts, ensuring clients’ needs and bespoke requirements are met with accuracy and urgency.
Job Responsibilities

Act as a single, dedicated point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding process.

Establish and maintain relationships with primary client contacts, such as COOs, CEOs, Heads of Operations and Business Development.

Host regular client meetings, partnering closely with hedge fund start-ups to provide additional guidance and assistance.

Liaise with external third parties such as trading platforms, legal counsels, consulting firms and fund administrators.

Coordinate across multiple internal teams, regions and asset classes, (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.).

Build and maintain strong relationships with partner teams, such as Sales, Credit Risk, Margin Trading, Execution, Legal, Account Management, and Middle Office to maintain consistent progress and facilitate client timelines

Represent and advocate for clients internally, ensuring their requirements are met accurately and delivered with a sense of urgency.

Identify optimal structure for clients based on their requirements (products, markets, structure, regulations etc.) to J.P. Morgan’s platform, working with partner teams to solve where needed.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Experience with either hedge funds or a relevant product (Prime Brokerage, Equities, Fixed Income, OTC and ETD Derivatives, etc.).

Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and client management, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with both clients and internal partner groups across a range of seniority levels.

Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver within tight and changing timeframes in a dynamic environment.

Sense of ownership and accountability to client.

Confident, driven, self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Inquisitive, tenacious; able to take a consultative approach with business partner teams on complicated workflows.

Excellent attention to detail with intent to provide a high level of accuracy.

Minimum bachelor’s degree

Strong problem-solving ability: able to anticipate possible issues and seek to eliminate, mitigate, or escalate as appropriate.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Experience working in a global financial institution or with international clients.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements for prime brokerage and fund onboarding.

Demonstrated leadership in driving process improvements and client satisfaction.
-
Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus due to client coverage in the region.

In-depth understanding of fund structures, legal entities, financing product offerings, and associated legal documentation.
