As a Control Manager Associate within the Control Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the line of business has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment, identifying and escalating issues with a sense of urgency, and partnering with the business to ensure issues are remediated in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the business’ risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of control breaks.
• Ensure that controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols.
• Perform ongoing analysis of program related data and develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business-related programs and strategies.
• Assist with development of Risk & Control Self-Assessment mapping and documentations through participation in end-to-end process walkthroughs and deep dives with assigned business units.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

• Experience in business controls, operational risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit or similar function with coverage of Markets Sales / Trading businesses
• Excellent in MS office, especially in Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, Access Database and Power point
• Understanding of the end to end product life cycle for any products.
• Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership
• Strong organizational skills - manages and prioritizes multiple tasks across different time horizons within deadlines
• Strong understanding of controls and their application to different processes and businesses
• Strong analytical, problem solving and process re-engineering skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team player with excellent partnering and influencing skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Understanding of the control framework for Markets businesses would be beneficial (Equities, Commodities, Sales, Currencies and emerging markets)
