As an Analyst in Fixed Income Research, you will help to conduct and facilitate industry analysis and company-specific coverage. This involves core research ranging from dissecting earnings releases and regulatory filings to assessing relevant news events, macro trends, modelling financial statements and industry dynamics, performing detailed valuation work, writing research notes and sector pieces and making investment recommendations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow specific sectors and companies in China onshore convertible bond market

• Provide timely analysis and recommendation on covered companies and sectors

• Formulate sector strategies and investment recommendations

• Effectively communicate thoughts, ideas and analysis in written and oral form

• Maintaining regular contact with Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (GFICC) colleagues globally, taking part in conference calls and responding to project requests

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Past experience in China onshore convertible bond research/investment role

• Attainment of all necessary regulatory licenses (or any other licenses / qualifications as required) for carrying out Asset Management and other regulated activities

• Demonstrate a strong ability to address risk and be comfortable with risk-taking

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Strong financial analytical skills

• Ability to work effectively with colleagues based in around the world

• Proficiency in English
