The Home Lending Product Transformation team is responsible for advancing Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) product operating models and mobilizing product teams to deliver initiatives at scale that align with CCB Strategic Objectives. Job Responsibilities
- Define and Prioritize Product Backlog: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements, draft user stories and acceptance criteria, and help prioritize the backlog in line with business goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with Development Teams: Work day-to-day with engineering and design to clarify requirements, track progress, and provide timely feedback; escalate risks and dependencies to ensure increments are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Conduct User Research and Testing: Coordinate and participate in user research and usability testing; synthesize insights and recommend iterations to validate and improve features.
- Support Agile Ceremonies: Participate in and help facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives), contributing to effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Monitor Product Performance: Pull and analyze product metrics and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities; propose data-driven recommendations to enhance the product.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Prepare concise updates on progress, risks, and upcoming priorities; ensure transparency and alignment across teams and stakeholders.
- Develop Product Roadmaps: Contribute to creating and maintaining roadmaps by documenting milestones, dependencies, and timelines; ensure updates are clearly communicated to relevant partners.
- Research industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies; summarize findings to inform opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- 3+ years of Product Management experience
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrates a strong understanding of customer needs and pain points, probing for root causes and using insights to inform requirements and feature prioritization.
- Product Strategy Support: Able to articulate how features align to product goals and strategy; supports senior product leaders in communicating vision and driving execution across teams.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfortable using analytics and experimentation to inform decisions, measure outcomes, and iterate to improve user experience and business results.
- Technical Acumen: Solid grasp of product development fundamentals and technical trade-offs to effectively partner with engineering and ask the right questions. Hands-on experience in Scrum or Kanban practices, including backlog management and sprint planning, with a focus on timely, high-quality delivery.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to distinguish root causes from symptoms, frame problem statements, and propose practical solutions that balance user needs and business objectives.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Conducts market and competitor research; distills insights and incorporates them into roadmap inputs and product recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in user experience design and solution design.
- Proficiency with Figma, Lucid Suite, JIRA, Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping tools.
