As a Valuation Oversight Specialist within the Product Administration team, you execute end-to-end valuation oversight procedures and controls for global funds. You prepare management and governance reporting, manage audit requirements, and implement changes to valuation models and policies. You work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive controls and clear communication across asset classes and fund structures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end valuation oversight procedures and controls for investment funds.

  • Analyze and document valuation decisions, adjustments, and market events impacting valuations.

  • Oversee pricing vendors and service providers, managing valuation-related queries and escalations.

  • Prepare and review management and governance reporting for senior stakeholders.

  • Manage policy and procedure updates and approvals in line with firm standards.

  • Ensure completeness of valuation documentation for audit trail purposes.

  • Coordinate and manage audit requirements with internal control teams and external parties.

  • Resolve identified gaps in valuation reviews and audits promptly.

  • Evaluate and implement changes to valuation oversight models, policies, and procedures.

  • Review pricing vendor capabilities and assess valuation risks for new products or initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external groups involved in valuations.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience in investment management with a focus on valuations.

  • Attain professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, ACCA, CPA, or CFA.

  • Apply knowledge of valuation standards, methodologies, and techniques across asset classes and complex instruments.

  • Exhibit technical and business knowledge of asset management and investment fund structures.

  • Utilize proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Communicate effectively with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Build strong relationships and manage stakeholders internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Leverage knowledge of VBA, Alteryx, Python, and automation solutions including LLM.

  • Operate effectively as part of a cross-functional and global team.

  • Organize and prioritize multiple deliverables with a high sense of responsibility.

  • Demonstrate strong accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously.

  • Show a positive attitude toward compliance, controls, and firmwide standards.

  • Present information clearly to valuation stakeholders, governance bodies, and senior management.

  • Support process improvements and strategic initiatives in valuation oversight.
