As an Associate in the Innovation Economy Business Management team, you will lead strategic initiatives and provide data-driven insights to support business leaders in optimizing performance and achieving growth goals. With a focus on developing data infrastructure and support for the rapidly growing innovation economy. Your role will involve executing independent tasks, contributing to strategic initiatives, and working with data to support decision-making processes.
Job responsibilities
- Respond promptly to executive ad-hoc requests, managing and delivering key projects and work streams.
- Organize and present complex information using advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including wireframes and mock-ups for management presentations and dashboards.
- Perform data-driven trend analysis to effectively communicate key business metrics (financial and non-financial) through storytelling, message clarity, and analysis visualization.
- Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions.
- Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps.
- Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes.
- Identify key business risks on the platform and drive resolution of mitigating controls.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area.
- 6+ years of experience in Business Management, COO, or Chief of Staff roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain design excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and driving the agenda.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience working with or supporting venture capital, private equity, tech startups, or healthcare and life sciences companies.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Excel and Qlik dashboards.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in developing and implementing data infrastructure solutions.
- Understanding of financial metrics and performance indicators relevant to the innovation economy.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative and creative solutions.
