This is a critical role within the expanding Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Executive Search Team, advising and partnering with global business leaders for two core business lines — Payments and Securities Services — and their management teams.
As an Executive Search Associate in the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Executive Search Team you will help to drive outcomes and solve the most senior, high-profile, business-critical, and complex hiring and succession planning needs worldwide for Payments and Securities Services leadership.
Job responsibilities
- Play a leading role in the end-to-end executive search process for executive hiring and succession planning across Payments and Securities Services, with a focus on revenue-producing roles
- Present shortlists, candidate profiles, and market insights to clients, actively participating in meetings with global management team members
- Interview executive-level candidates independently or with the Executive Search Lead to assess suitability for senior hiring mandates
- Conduct in-depth research (e.g., LinkedIn, leveraging historic longlists, phone sourcing, networking) to identify and engage relevant candidates for executive-level positions
- Prepare detailed candidate profiles and presentations for shortlist and briefing meetings with clients
- Manage and partner with the broader Executive Search support team, including sourcing, scheduling, and presentations
- Coordinate and project manage executive searches to ensure efficient progress and deliver a premier level of service to clients, candidates, and HR colleagues
- Collaborate with HR Advisory, Compensation (cash and deferred), Global Mobility, Talent, and other HR colleagues globally
- Maintain awareness of key executive moves, industry trends, market intelligence, and competitor analysis across Payments and Securities Services and at a high level from a CIB perspective
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Exceptional oral communication and interpersonal skills for engaging senior-level professionals globally and presenting to clients
- Diligent in written communications and candidate interactions, with meticulous attention to detail and a “strive for excellence” mindset
- Credible with executive-level leaders, with the ability to influence outcomes
- Highly organized, with strong aptitude for managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced, results-driven, and highly global environment
- Proven ability to work at pace without sacrificing quality
- Strong research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize complex information quickly
- Creative and agile in approach, with the ability to thrive in environments that can be ambiguous
- Politically savvy, able to navigate complex environments with conflicting priorities
- Experience in executive search, recruitment, or a related field within Financial Services highly preferred
