Chase Auto Private Label Captive Finance is seeking a results-driven Vice President to join its Strategic Business Management team. This role will lead high-impact initiatives that shape Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partnerships and overall business strategy.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious and thrives on complex, cross-functional projects that drive business growth and collaboration. This requires the ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs, flexing across a range of strategic priorities.
As a Vice President of Strategic Business Management in Chase Auto, you will be accountable for driving strategic initiatives from concept through execution. This includes overseeing all phases of project delivery, managing stakeholder alignment, and ensuring executional excellence across multiple teams and lines of business. You will collaborate closely with teams across all internal functions (corporate development, finance, legal, risk, etc.) and external OEM partners to deepen and retain our strategic relationships. Success in this role requires a strong ownership mindset and an ability to influence and communicate across all levels of the organization.
Job responsibilities
- Structure and drive strategic projects from discovery to execution, organizing teams, scoping requirements, facilitating productive meetings, and quantifying impact.
- Proactively identify issues and actionable opportunities, adapting project plans as needed, considering implications for both project and broader business strategy.
- Collaborate, build relationships, and influence stakeholders across functional areas (e.g., product, finance, tax, legal, marketing, risk, data analytics, etc.).
- Identify opportunities to bring together the assets of the firm to develop and execute strategies that support our OEM partners’ growth objectives.
- Strategic analytic focus in the areas of profitability, pricing, and risk to inform decision-making that drives competitive market share across our OEM partners.
- Establish market and competitive intelligence to inform leadership of emerging trends and risks.
- Support the design and iteration of innovative capabilities and structures for new and existing partners.
- Develop and deliver senior level communications, simplifying complex subject matter into clear, compelling narratives appropriately tailored to the audience.
- Share best practices, coach team members, and contribute to building overall team capabilities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, business management, or finance.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative finance and analytical skills.
- Ability to leverage data and directional feedback to structure complex problems and make decisions.
- A high level of personal initiative, comfortable operating within ambiguity, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership.
- Intellectual curiosity and propensity to learn new subjects quickly.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Creative thinker who is willing to speak up in any setting.
- Proven experience collaborating across teams and influencing diverse stakeholders in complex organizations.
- Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex subject matter into digestible executive communications.BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
