Job Summary:
As a Loan Servicing Manager II within JPMorgan Chase, you will supervise a team of loan servicing specialists, ensuring effective management of a loan portfolio. Your knowledge of loan servicing principles will be essential in interpreting documents, interacting with contacts, and meeting deadlines. You will use advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex situations and make impactful decisions. Proficiency in conflict management, critical thinking, and stakeholder management will help navigate conflicts and achieve beneficial outcomes. Job responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of loan servicing specialists, ensuring adherence to established procedures and policies, and maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Interpret complex loan documents, applying broad knowledge of lending services to ensure accurate and efficient loan servicing.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, utilizing proficient emotional intelligence and conflict management skills to resolve issues and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Oversee and manage deadlines, employing advanced time management and organizational skills to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Utilize advanced strategic planning skills to define and implement long-term goals for the loan servicing department, aligning with the overall objectives of the firm.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills- Four years of experience in managing loan servicing tasks, with a focus on interpreting loan documents and overseeing deadlines. - Demonstrated proficiency in conflict management, with a track record of resolving conflicts within teams and arising from business decisions.
- Proven ability in critical thinking, with experience in organizing, comparing, and critically evaluating various aspects of loan servicing situations.
- Advanced strategic planning skills, with experience in defining organizational direction and making decisions on resource allocation in a lending services environment.
- Advanced time management and organizational skills, with a history of efficiently managing and monitoring multiple tasks and activities in a loan servicing context.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client service operations, enhancing client satisfaction and service delivery through strategic development and implementation. - Expertise in managing operational risks throughout the lending lifecycle, applying critical thinking to identify and mitigate potential issues effectively.
- Proficiency in data and technology literacy, enabling the analysis of data and implementation of innovative solutions, as well as the development of quantitative reports to analyze performance and inform data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver feedback, mentor, and coach others, leveraging experience to foster development and high performance within teams.
- Skilled in managing and developing high-performance teams through continuous training and coaching, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets.
