As an Associate I (Manager) in Billing Operations, you ensure accurate and timely billing for clients across Securities Services Operations. You translate client fee agreements into precise billing setups and drive end‑to‑end case execution. You partner closely with pricing, revenue, product, relationship, and client service teams to deliver a great client experience. Job responsibilities
- Analyze client fee agreements and translate them into accurate billing setups.
- Process Billing Operations setup Smart Forms for client onboarding and repricing.
- Coordinate with Revenue Management, Pricing, Relationship Management, Product Operations, Client Service, and clients to gather complete data pre‑submission.
- Validate inputs and documentation to meet control and audit standards.
- Recommend optimal account and client structures that support accurate billing.
- Prioritize workload to meet defined service level agreements and tight deadlines.
- Escalate emerging issues promptly and partner with your manager to drive timely resolution and stakeholder alignment.
- Review assigned cases end‑to‑end and close within agreed service levels.
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures through the change management process.
- Lead or contribute to process improvements that reduce manual work and enhance client experience.
- Track and report business‑as‑usual metrics to support transparency and decision‑making.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of operations or processing experience in financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of operational processing, client management, and billing operations.
- Strong attention to detail with clear logical reasoning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and foster collaborative relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with cross‑functional stakeholders critical to the billing setup process.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a global setting.
- Analytical problem solver with effective troubleshooting skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience across Securities Services domains such as Custody, Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, Margin Services, Depositary, Global Derivatives Operations, or Securities Lending.
- Experience updating and governing standard operating procedures.
- Track record of leading or contributing to process improvement or automation to reduce manual effort.
- Familiarity with risk management practices and control design in an operations environment.
- Comfort collaborating across regions and time zones; willing to support late APAC and EMEA hours when required.
- Experience with case management and workflow tools used for billing setup.
- Advanced Excel skills for data validation and reconciliation.
