You will be a developer for the Mansart fund management business, which has grown rapidly in the past few years, most recently into Asia, with a hub in Japan.

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Mansart fund management business, you will be the local lead developer for the Mansart fund management business, which has grown rapidly in the past few years, most recently into Asia, with a hub in Japan.

Job responsibilities

The role is two fold: there is a local desk (Mansart Japan) - and you will work with a tight knit team of traders, structurers and technologists to help scale this business. The technology platform, however is global - and the successful applicant will collaborate with the London team to ensure that the software that we build remains consistent across the regions.

Required qualifications, skills, and/or capabilities

  • Be experienced with Python, SQL, Java

  • Be a team player, able to communicate well with both fellow technologists and business users.

  • Possess Excellent analytical skills (i.e. problem solving).

  • Possess a solid foundation in computer science and software engineering principles.

  • be a Self-starter with the ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts and technologies.

  • Adopte disciplined approach to code management, testing and deployment practices.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Experience of working in a front office environment within financial services.

  • Working Level Japanese proficiency is highly preferred as this role is going to engage with local stakeholders
