As a Cash Operations Team Lead in Asia Core Cash Operations, you oversee daily payment processing and ensure the accurate and timely completion of fund transfers for our clients. You work with us to maintain strong controls, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency. Together, we foster a collaborative and high-performing culture focused on accuracy, compliance, and professional growth. Your leadership helps us deliver exceptional service and adapt to evolving business needs.
Job responsibilities
- Process electronic and manual transactions, including reconciliations, payments, receivables, and ecommerce payments.
- Monitor and ensure timely, accurate processing of transactions in line with established policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain robust controls and procedures to mitigate operational risks and prevent errors.
- Manage timely mail correspondence with internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in daily operations.
- Follow escalation matrix for identified issues and assist in issue resolution, including incident reporting.
- Identify training and development needs for team members to enhance skills and capabilities.
- Cross-train across multiple processes to support team flexibility.
- Perform product verification tests (PVTs) to ensure process integrity.
- Drive assigned projects focused on process improvements and operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards and support risk management initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s or Post Graduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cash operations, payments processing, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of payment processes, payment systems, and regulatory requirements in the APAC region.
- Working knowledge of international payment processing operations.
- Expert knowledge of SWIFT, ISO, and international payment conventions and practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong project management and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and optimize operational efficiency.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with attention to detail.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
