- As an Associate within the Currencies and Emerging Markets
- Product Controller team, you will be responsible for ensuring the business is compliant with rules, regulation and standards related to profit & loss recognition, risk reporting, balance sheet and capital management and external reporting.
Job responsibilities:
- Prepare daily T+1 trader profit & loss and risk reporting at a trader/desk level
- Ensure US GAAP general ledger accuracy and represent for external regulatory filings, risk weighted asset (RWA) policy application and calculation
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to initiate and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
- Partner with various stakeholders like Financial Control, Valuation Control Group, Market Risk Coverage and Legal Entity Controllers for various processes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in profit & loss and/or month end close process within the Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or Audit function
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a strong control mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
- Understanding of financial products FX, bonds and derivatives etc
