This Senior Leader will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of test automation in our Co-Brand organization. This role requires deep technical expertise, proven leadership, and the ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance quality, efficiency, and innovation in software delivery.
As an Executive Director in the Customer Journey Testing & Automation Team, you set the vision and strategy for test automation, leveraging AI and emerging technologies to deliver best-in-class solutions. You lead and inspire high-performing teams, collaborate with stakeholders and partners, and drive continuous improvement across the product development lifecycle. Your leadership will be instrumental in elevating our automation maturity and delivering measurable business impact.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic test automation roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing automation team
  • Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of automation frameworks and tools
  • Champion adoption of AI-driven testing solutions and innovative practices
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business partners to ensure quality standards
  • Ensure accountability for end-to-end testing lifecycle, including production defects and test suite gaps
  • Collaborate, strategize, and build strong relationships with external partner
  • Monitor industry trends and integrate best practices in automation and AI
  • Manage internal cross-product and Partner relationships, present to senior leadership and influence strategic decisions
  • Define and track key metrics and KPIs for automation success
  • Drive process improvements and foster a culture of experimentation and learning

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Deep expertise in test automation frameworks and tools, hands-on experience with AI-powered testing solutions
  • Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#)
  • Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with API and Header-Based testing (REST, SOAP, Postman, Rest Assured)
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Leading large-scale test automation initiatives in complex environments.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, experience working with external partners or clients
  • Track record of driving change and innovation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience aligning automation initiatives with business goals
  • Ability to define and measure KPIs for automation success, demonstrated use of AI/ML in testing processes

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Familiarity with performance and security testing tools (JMeter, Load Runner)
  • Knowledge of natural language processing and AI-based defect prediction
  • Background in presenting to and influencing senior leadership
  • Experience driving process improvements and automation maturity
  • Partner/client collaboration
