- As the Client Tax Associate
- QA, you will primarily be responsible for developing quality procedures, conducting data accuracy reviews, and communicating findings to management and stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include driving process enhancements by collaborating with line of business partners to optimize tax reporting. The role involves participating in various projects, either as a team member or as a test lead. Key tasks include drafting business requirements, planning and preparing for testing, creating test data, executing test cases, and working closely with IT partners to address any defects. The position also focuses on delivering productivity and process improvements for year-end reporting, coordinating deliverables with business units and lines of business, and overseeing tax form production, including validation and reconciliation of forms.
Job responsibilities
- Participate in enhancement initiatives in the form of business requirements, test plans, test cases, script execution, implementation, and readiness preparations.
- Serve as SME on all testing/validation responsibilities across teams.
- Provide clear/concise project updates in a weekly/monthly basis to business and management stakeholders.
- Perform issue analysis and develop solutions to fix.
- Creating and delivering daily, weekly, and monthly reporting using Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
- Monitor and complete departmental reporting to ensure service levels and quality standards are met.
- Develop a keen understanding of the unique business needs and lead efforts for continuous process improvement opportunities.
- Deliver productivity and process improvements related to year end reporting.
- Monitor tax form production including form validation and reconciliation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience in the consumer financial services industry is required.
- Experience participating in process improvement/project initiatives including business requirements and script writing is required.
- Planning and decision-making ability a must with strong attention to detail is required.
- Proficient MS Excel, Project, Access and Word is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and its impact on business operations is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
- Ability to track and execute multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Consumer Bank, Mortgage Servicing, Auto, Credit Card, or Business Banking operations is preferred.
- Experience with Customer Assist, OUI (Operational User Interface), NAWA (New Account Web Applications), MSP, Recovery One or Taxport applications preferred.
- Ability to effectively utilize technology to resolve issues and increase productivity is preferred.
- Experience with AI tools such as Alteryx, Ui Path or Tableau preferred.
Shift Schedule: 6pm-3am PHT but should be flexible to adjust depending on the business need.
