As an Analyst in the Wealth Management Investment Solutions Brokerage Product Development Team, you centrally coordinate product development and governance activities for investment platform initiatives. You will support global product teams in delivering solutions and participate in key strategic projects that drive innovation and efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to provide subject matter expertise to internal partners on a diverse suite of investment platforms and brokerage offerings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Centrally coordinate Product Development and Governance related activities for various investment platform initiatives, program status tracking, communication to executive stakeholders and ownership of periodic governance and reporting processes.
- Engage daily with global technology teams via Scrum meetings, focusing on prioritization.
- Participate in and track Agile ceremonies (refinement, retrospectives, quarterly planning).
- Create clear, structured JIRA stories in collaboration with Product Director and stakeholders
- Oversee product implementation, adoption, and expansion
- Document current and strategic operating model.
- Maintain and proactively recommend enhancements to ongoing product MIS
- Identify, on board and maintain vendors across trading businesses.
- Develop understanding of regulatory/ legal landscape related to the investment product process.
- Collaborate across the diverse perspectives of Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Investment teams to deliver product management as well as regulatory initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 2+ years of experience within financial services supporting the Global Markets business
- Excellent analytical skills, communications and presentation skills.
- Strong team player with ability to work with teams at all levels.
- Familiarity with trading products including Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income and FX
- Strong systems, operational and control analysis skills.
- Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines organise and prioritise work.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to code with Python
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Proactive self-starter with a problem-solving mindset.
- Exceptional data analysis/quantitative/technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn new processes, and datasets
- Experience with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau-- highly desirable.
- Understanding of market trading conventions, settlement procedures, systems, and protocol in a wide variety of asset classes preferred.
