As a Product Control Associate in our Product Control team, you will support the financial controllers and trading desks to ensure that profit and loss, balance sheet, and month-end close procedures are completed accurately. You will provide detailed financial analysis, partner with the business to implement controls and new initiatives, and coordinate with various support functions to resolve reporting issues. Your contributions will help maintain a strong control environment and support business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with P&L reporting and month-end close processes
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new business initiatives
- Coordinate across front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and timely
- Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control
- Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related area
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area
- Experience with P&L reporting and month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a strong control focus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in financial services or investment banking
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools
- Proven ability to drive process improvements
- Experience working in multinational organizations
- Commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Solid understanding of financial products
