As an analyst on JPMorgan’s Hedge Fund and Asset Manager Interest Rate Sales team, your primary responsibility will be to support Senior Salespeople with coverage of Institutional asset managers and hedge funds. The rates sales desk is a very high-volume, fast-paced business which markets our full suite of interest rate products (US treasuries, swaps, swaptions, rates exotics, cross-currency, etc.) to large institutional clients. Analysts will work with internal stakeholders- including traders, research partners, and other salespeople to provide effective, custom-tailored coverage to clients.

Job responsibilities:

  • Trade modelling, trade execution, post-trade operations management

  • Client coverage and conducting market intelligence

  • Conducting idea generation

  • Collaborate with their global peers in servicing our clients across time zones.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • A strong interest in global financial markets and macroeconomics

  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment.

  • Being adaptable, flexible, and resilient.

  • Skilled at managing multiple tasks concurrently and highly organized.

  • Firm understanding and experience in basic finance and/or economics

  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and solutions-oriented mindset

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications
