As a Vice President, Product Manager within the Payment Experiences team, you will be responsible for leading a team that innovates new product offerings and owns the end-to-end product lifecycle. The Payment Experiences and Services product group focuses on foundational products and services that enable payment processing across multiple DDA-based products and shared customer-facing payment experiences. You will help define and deliver the strategic vision for the modernization of our platforms and provide leading payment capabilities for customers. This role requires strong collaboration and influencing skills, an agile mindset, and the flexibility to adapt to internal and competitive market forces.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary product teams through all stages of the product lifecycle, from discovery to launch
- Define a strategic product vision and OKRs aligned to overall organizational objectives, and informed by customer feedback and key market/technology trends
- Oversee the team's execution against the product roadmap, managing timelines and dependencies to ensure delivery of key milestones
- Oversee the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and facilitating effective communication with Tech teams to enable delivery of high-value features and enhancements.
- Drive product reviews, strategy sessions, and other key cadences with senior leaders to provide visibility into progress, escalate key risks, and drive decisions
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, including functional partners (Finance, Marketing, Controls), Design, Technology, and Analytics teams
- Collaborate across Product, Design, Technology, and Analytics teams to prioritize the most impactful features for Payments, and to support cross-line of business product strategy and vision
- Ensure adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Lead and develop a diverse, high-performing team
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 5 or more years of digital product, financial services, technology, or project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Subject matter expertise in technology, payments architecture and digital space
- Proven track record managing scrum backlogs, using agile methodologies, and owning products, including project planning, resource management and requirements management
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing both technical challenges (e.g. system development, platform capabilities) and functional challenges (e.g. business processes, stakeholder requirements)
- Ability to work independently, manage expectations, and communicate effectively across teams and time zones
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent reasoning, organizational and presentation skills
- Experienced in managing product teams, creating inclusive environments, and building productive teams
- Proficient with MS Office tools, JIRA and Confluence
