We are searching for the best talent for a National Sales Leader role for MONARCH Urology to be located in Santa Clara, CA.
Purpose:
MONARCH is Johnson & Johnson’s robotic-assisted platform transforming the diagnosis and treatment of lung and urologic diseases. Within Urology, MONARCH represents a strategically important growth platform operating in a competitive, innovation-driven market. The National Sales Leader – MONARCH Urology is responsible for leading the U.S. sales organization and delivering national revenue performance across capital systems, consumables, and utilization growth.
You will be responsible for:
· Lead and develop the U.S. MONARCH Urology Sales organization.
· Execute the national sales strategy aligned with business priorities, launch plans, and growth objectives.
· Drive excellence in capital sales execution, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and deal discipline.
· Translate strategy into clear priorities and executional rigor across regions and accounts.
· Deliver against national revenue targets for capital equipment, consumables, and procedure growth.
· Partner cross-functionally to drive install base expansion, utilization growth, and customer retention.
· Prioritize high-potential opportunities across greenfield placements, competitive conversions, and account expansions.
· Leverage analytics and performance insights to optimize territory performance and resource deployment.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with health system leaders, administrators, and key clinical stakeholders.
· Support strategic engagements with enterprise and IDN accounts, ensuring coordinated execution across functions.
· Ensure consistent delivery of a compelling clinical, economic, and operational value proposition.
· Partner closely with Marketing, Clinical, Professional Education, Service, Contracting, and Strategic Accounts.
· Provide field insights to inform marketing strategy, launch readiness, and commercial optimization.
· Align with broader J&J Med Tech commercial teams to leverage enterprise relationships and infrastructure.
· Build and sustain a high-performing, inclusive sales culture focused on accountability, development, and results.
· Coach and develop Regional Sales Directors and frontline leaders to strengthen leadership capability and succession.
· Champion Johnson & Johnson Credo values, ensuring healthcare compliance, ethical conduct, and integrity.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
· 12–15+ years of progressive commercial experience in medical devices, capital equipment, or complex healthcare solutions.
· Proven experience leading large regional or national sales teams, including capital equipment and utilization-based models.
· Deep clinical acumen, preferably in Urology
· Strong background selling into community hospitals, academic medical centers, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).
· Demonstrated success delivering sustained growth through capital placement, utilization expansion, and sales execution.
· Experience operating effectively within a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
· Willingness to travel extensively (typically 50%+).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$205,000.00 - $353,050.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
