Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine R&D IT is seeking Product Lead Engineers located in Hyderabad, India. At the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, we take patient health and well-being to our core values. The Product Lead Engineer is responsible for supervising product engineering and making software engineering decisions. They fulfill dual responsibilities as both an entrepreneur and implementer of technical solutions. They tackle complex business problems and intricate engineering challenges and shape the technical design. Their responsibilities include ensuring the product's technical architecture, software development aligns with the technology roadmap and adheres to software engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of web applications using cloud computing technologies.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including Safety, Regulatory, and Clinical functions, to integrate cloud solutions into our products and services.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in cloud computing and apply this knowledge to enhance our offerings.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  • Work hands-on with data scientists, software engineers, and other partners to define technical requirements and specifications.
  • Optimize product performance and scalability using cloud infrastructure and full stack technologies.
  • Design and manage databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless integration between systems.
  • Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate product vision and progress to partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science or similar (Engineering, Math, Physics, IT)

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience in engineering roles with a focus on full stack development, programming, databases, APIs, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in full stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Node.js, React, Angular, Python, Java).
  • Experience with database design and management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C# , or C++.
  • Proficiency in data structures (e.g., Stack, Linked Lists, Trees, Graphs).
  • Familiarity with REST API development and integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Analytical, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry -- Clinical, Safety, Regulatory
