Job Description:

  • Work with sending site ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner and ensuring good communication with sending site.
  • Responsible to update our Data bases for transferred products and use of the Share Point.
  • Participate with other Manufacturing and Process Engineers to recommend, design, select machinery, tools, jigs, and fixtures required to the products.
  • Participate with other Manufacturing Engineers to Maintain the Item master, product routings and bills of material in the MRP system.
  • Participate in training or workshop employees.
  • Take responsibility to improve quality, cost, lead times, on time delivery, or any other actions defined by the management.
  • Use PE principles to improve processes and reduce non-value-added waste and activities. (Including process FMEA, Gauge R&R, Predictive Indicator and use of statistical techniques).
  • Lead or participate to identify capital spend and budget requirements.
  • Participate to identify installation of new equipments or processes.
  • Participate or lead the choices for the facility and equipments layout.
  • Support local and overseas R&D on new products development.
  • In partnership with the Quality department, participate to the development of the quality system and its day to day implementation.
  • Understand the Quality philosophy based on FDA QSRs, ISO 9000 and SFDA requirements.
  • Understand, compile and control non-conformance data and product traceability.
  • Work with quality to develop and implement process validation plans.
  • Understand special processes requirements are plus, such as Sterilization, Cleaning, Packaging, FPI etc.
  • Understand computer software validation requirements.
  • Perform all job duties in full accordance with:
  • The J&J policies on Information, Assets protection, Maintain password(s) confidential, protect critical Business Information.
  • All J&J policies and local regulations.
  • The policies of the Health Care and Environmental programs.
    • The code of conduct policies
  • Propose, develop or participate in actions to improve EH&S.
  • Full responsibility and ownership (like all employees on site) for all audits (internal, Corporate, External, for Quality, H&S, Environment, etc.
