We are searching for the best talent for APAC De Puy Synthes Digital Surgery Marketing Director.
Purpose: As the APAC Digital Surgery Marketing Director at De Puy Synthes, you will be instrumental in advancing the digital & robotic technology around the orthopaedics surgery across the Asia Pacific region. Your leadership will be key in driving strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration with global and local partners, and ensuring that our innovative solutions meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients alike.
You will be responsible for:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a robust product strategy for the Digital surgery segment that aligns with regional business goals, capitalizing on market trends and opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.

Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify growth prospects and innovation opportunities specific to the robotic orthopaedics surgery in diverse Asia Pacific markets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with global and local teams—including R&D, marketing, sales, and regulatory—to ensure seamless product development and market introduction.

Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements tailored for each market.

Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing team of professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.

Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and stakeholders, leveraging insights to inform product strategies and enhancements.

Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, optimizing resource allocation to meet and exceed financial objectives within the region.
Qualifications / Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Extensive experience in the medical device industry, particularly within orthopaedics, joint reconstruction and highly specialized in heavy capital robotics surgery platform, with a strong emphasis on the Asia Pacific market.

Proven track record of strategic product management and successful leadership in dynamic environments.

Strong understanding of regional regulatory requirements and quality standards in the medical device field.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and matrixed organizational structure.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as De Puy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of De Puy Synthes and your employment would be governed by De Puy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans.
