We are searching for the best talent for Director,Professional Education, Asia Pacific for De Puy Synthes Orthopaedics. Purpose: You will lead the strategic development and execution of professional education across the entire orthopaedics portfolio, including Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, CMF, Sports Medicine, Power Tools, and Digital Surgery. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Vice President, Marketing – APAC, this role plays a critical leadership position in shaping surgeon education, strengthening AO relationships, and enabling cross-regional collaboration with Global, EMEA, and LATAM teams to deliver world-class, compliant, and impactful education solutions.
You will be responsible for:
- Define and execute a comprehensive APAC Professional Education strategy across the full De Puy Synthes Orthopaedics portfolio.
- Partner closely with APAC Marketing and Commecial Leadership to align education initiatives with portfolio strategy, lifecycle priorities, and customer engagement objectives.
- Serve as the APAC strategic lead for AO (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen) relations.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with AO leadership and regional faculty to co-create high-quality, compliant education programs.
- Collaborate with Global, EMEA, and LATAM Professional Education and Education Solution Leaders to leverage shared capabilities, exchange best practices, and enable cross-regional customer engagement opportunities.
- Drive innovation in education delivery through digital, hybrid, simulation, and experiential learning models, including digital surgery enablement.
- Ensure all education activities adhere to Our Credo values, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and influence through a complex matrix organization, developing regional education leaders and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.
Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

12–15+ years of experience in Professional Education, Medical Education, or Commercial strategies & leadership within Orthopaedics.

Demonstrated experience partnering with academic societies and external faculties; AO experience strongly preferred.
-
Strong understanding of orthopaedic procedural education across multiple sub-specialties.
-
Proven ability to operate and influence effectively in regional and global matrix organizations.
-
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
