Job Description:

Role Summary

The Business Control Supervisor is a hybrid finance-commercial role that partners closely with commercial team to assist them achieving business targets and overall performance, ensuring pricing discipline, cost efficiency, and data-driven decision-making while maintaining appropriate controls and compliance.

He or she will act as a business partner to monitor, track, analyze key operational KPIs via cross-function collaboration, and generate business insights regarding resource allocation to support sustainable growth.

Job Scope

  • Pricing Management & Monitoring

· Conduct company-wide pricing related analysis, financial modeling, and sensitivity simulation in close collaboration with commercial team, market access team, key account team, and other relevant stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.

· Track pricing changes (list price and discounted price) and impact on revenue and margin.

· Ensure pricing practices are aligned with internal policies and controls.

· Support demand planning from pricing assumption perspective

  • Business Spending Planning and Control

Collaborate with commercial team for spending planning, budgeting and forecasting along with company finance cycles.

  • Monitor actual expenses versus budget, and collaborate with commercial leaders for risk management.

  • Partner with budget owners to ensure effective cost management and resource allocation through business insight generation.

  • Demand Forecasting & Data-driven Insights

Leverage analytical databases and market insights (e.g., market share, patient data, reimbursement milestones, trends) to support demand forecasting and target setting.

  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for Finance and Commercial teams.

  • Control, Compliance & Governance

Embed appropriate controls into commercial processes related to pricing and spending management.

  • Identify control gaps and support remediation actions or policy updates in collaboration with Finance and other stakeholders.

Commercial Process Improvement & Optimization:

  • Actively contribute to cross-functional projects related to commercial process improvement and optimization.

  • Support automation, reporting enhancements, and data optimization initiatives to increase commercial efficiency and transparency.

Qualification & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.

  • 4–6 years+ of experience in Commercial Finance, Business Control, or related roles.

  • Strong curiosity on understanding the business.

  • Good analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.

  • Solid Excel and modeling capabilities.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience in multinational or matrix organizations.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, BI tools).

  • Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) is a plus.
